Former NFL star wide receiver Antonio Brown was arrested in Dania Beach, Florida, on Sunday for allegedly failing to pay child support to the mother of one of his children.

Fox News Digital obtained the arrest report by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, which revealed that the officer stopped Brown outside his home as he was getting in a taxi.

After identifying himself, the officer found an active arrest warrant for Brown, who was taken into custody at 3:19 p.m. on Sunday, police said. The warrant was a writ of bodily attachment, which is common in child custody cases.

A judge ruled in August that Brown missed child support payments, though there has been no movement in the case.

Since his release, Brown has been posting on social media – a common occurrence for the embattled receiver – where he was seen at a jeweler in Maryland followed by a video shoot in front of a yellow Lamborghini, per his Instagram Stories.

Brown’s days in the NFL ended in controversy, and he’s continued that trends off the field.

A viral video recently showed Brown taking his pants off and stripping down to his underwear on a sidewalk in Tallahassee, Florida, after his rap concert at Potbelly’s, per the Tallahassee Democrat.

Brown tossed his pants into a crowd despite his cellphone being in a pocket.

He was also booted from an arena football league for failing to meet its financial obligations as the owner of the Albany Empire.

0

Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris was released from the hospital on Monday after being rushed out of Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, by ambulance following a scary scene that left him motionless on the turf during the game against the New York Giants on Sunday night.

Harris does have some neck pain, “but otherwise is going to be fine,” according to ESPN.

The Bills went on to win in thrilling fashion against the Giants, 14-9, but Harris’ status after taking a first-half hit that left him needing to be stretchered off the field was atop everyone’s minds post-game.

Of course, the Bills and its fan base previously dealt with safety Damar Hamlin’s on-field cardiac arrest incident last season. So seeing the ambulance on the field on Sunday night was a tough sight to see for all those watching in the stands and at home.

Luckily, after the game, reports were positive, despite initial appearances.

Harris was lying on the turf after being hit by Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke on his first touch of the game — a third-and-inches play in which he did pick up the first down prior to needing medical attention.

Harris was tended to for several minutes before the ambulance came out on the field. He was then placed on a stretcher and moved into the ambulance, but he was able to give the crowd and the NBC broadcast cameras a thumbs-up sign.

It’s unknown the exact injury Harris suffered, though it’s inferred that it involves his neck. With his discharge from the hospital, his timetable to return to the field has yet to be disclosed.

Nishad Singh, the former engineering director at now-defunct crypto exchange FTX, has reportedly said he “hopes for no jail time” as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

According to reports from the criminal trial of Sam “SBF” Bankman-Fried on Oct. 16, Singh revealed details about his deal with the United States Justice Department which had him plead guilty to fraud charges announced in February. The former FTX engineer director reportedly said he faced up to 75 years in prison for charges related to defrauding users of the crypto exchange.

In his testimony, Singh reported that FTX had invested roughly $1.3 billion in endorsement deals with celebrities and sports figures including Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen and Steph Curry prior to the crypto market crash of 2022. According to Singh, former FTX chief technology officer Gary Wang had told him Alameda Research had borrowed $13 billion from the crypto exchange — news that seemed unsurprising to Bankman-Fried.

“People are going to be freaking out,” said Singh according to reports, speculating on the reaction the Alameda news. “I felt betrayed, something I’d put in blood, sweat and tears for five years turning out so horrible.”

Singh reportedly said SBF had suggested investing $120 million into purchasing the messaging app Telegram, and Alameda sent him FTX user funds specifically for making donations to political campaigns. When liquidity issues began occurring at FTX in November 2022, Singh said he “had been suicidal for some days” while dealing with alleged inconsistencies between the exchange’s public statements and its activities behind the scenes.

The former engineering director’s testimony came on the ninth day of Bankman-Fried’s criminal trial, which kicked off in New York on Oct. 3. Prior to the courtroom’s midday break on Oct. 16, Singh testified that SBF would sometimes “unilaterally spend Alameda’s money” in an “excessive” manner, including investments in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic and the firm K5 Global.

Bankman-Fried faces seven counts related to fraud in his first criminal trial and an additional five counts in a second scheduled to begin in March 2024. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
