Celebrates 30 Years of Jurassic Park

Celebrates 30 Years of Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park, the film that started it all, debuted in theaters on June 11, 1993, ushering in a new era of cinema and enduring characters and dinosaurs that captured our hearts from the first song and scene. The first movie made more than one billion dollars at the box office and inspired five blockbusters from Universal Pictures, including Jurassic World Dominion in 2022, which made over $1 billion in short order. As Dr.

Ian Malcolm, played by Jeff Goldblum, says in the first movie, “Life finds a way.” Jurassic Park debuted at Universal Studios in Florida three years later and has since expanded to theme parks in Orlando, Florida, Hollywood, Osaka, and Beijing. The well-known property has left a dino-sized mark on NBCUniversal with its global theme park attractions, well-liked consumer goods for fans of all ages, the DreamWorks cartoon series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, and more.

Fans can find special Jurassic Park 30th anniversary goods and collectibles at the Jurassic Park Tribute Store at the Universal Orlando Resort, as well as themed food and drinks from Thunder Falls, and on the weekend of June 9, they can attend commemorative movie screenings at Universal Cinemark in City Walk.  With its well-liked Jurassic World — The Ride, Universal Studios Hollywood pays tribute to the seminal film. Fans can also take advantage of anniversary movie screenings, themed meals, and exclusive merchandise.

There are several ways to commemorate Jurassic June for Jurassic Park enthusiasts. When you arrive home, continue the party by streaming the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World trilogy, which are currently offered for rent or buy by Universal Home Entertainment. Invite some friends, dress up in your favorite dino-fashion, and immerse yourself in a multi-award-winning Jurassic themed attraction.

Jurassic Park Vehicles

The Jurassic Park cars first made their way to CityWalk! These include a Jeep Wrangler parked outside of Cinemark and the recognizable Ford Explorer tour car. In case you forgot, the Ford Explorers served as the tour buses for Jurassic Park’s disastrous excursion. Despite being identified as EXP 004, the same car Donald Gennaro, Tim Murphy, and Lex Murphy were in, this one appears to be in much better shape than the one the T-Rex ate.

The Jurassic Park team drives a Jeep Wrangler. You can see the infamous Barbasol can that Dennis Nedry smuggled out of the lab in the front windshield, complete with dinosaur embryos. Actually, this Jeep appears to be a replica of the one Nedry attempted to escape on.

In addition, there are stickers from the Jurassic Park Motor Pool Florida Division, a group of enthusiasts that make screen-accurate replicas of movie artifacts like this Jeep, the Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Tribute Store, and the Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Tribute Store on the Jeep’s return windshield.
